Solano County Mental Health Services Encourage Goal-Oriented Personal Growth & Community Integration

Caminar’s Solano County supported housing program provides personalized rehabilitation services to individuals that are in need of support to stay housed.  We help our client's develop plans and work toward goals to maintain housing or to find permanent housing.  Services are offered on an individualized basis and at Caminar we recognize that stable and safe housing is central to leading a whole and meaningful life.

SAILs (Supported And Independent Living)

Caminar's SAIL's Program provides goal-oriented personalized rehabilitation services to people who need support while living independently in the community. The focus is on individualized treatment plans that work to develop a client's skills to remain stable in the community of their choosing.  Some of the services offerd are assistance with benefits, housing subsidies, conflict resolution skill building, accompanyment to medical provdier doctor appointments, crisis resolution, etc. 

Caminar's SAILs case managers successfully provide one-on-one support services that often include assisting individuals in securing and sustaining permanent housing, roommate selection, life-skills training, symptom management, self-help skills, participation in community support groups, referrals to vocational and educational resources, as well as other essential community mental health resources.community-based services.

There is also an emphasis placed on finding employment for the program participants.  Employment is a central part of recovery of our client's life.  Case managers work with Caminar's Job Plus program to locate an appropriate job for the client.  Having a life that is meaningful is central focus of our work with all our clients, and the SAILs program recognizes that employment is a critical piece in enriching our client's lives.   


CCM (Comprehensive Case Management program)

Our CCM program provides an enhanced case management service to Solano County residents who are mentally ill.  Unlike traditional case management programs the CCM has an embedded Registered Nurse to help address the numerous medical and medication issues that so many of our clients struggle with, and thus making the service enhanced.  The CCM program provides service to 120 clients and in addition the RN, the prgoram is staffed with a dedicated Program Director, 4 Case Managers and dedicated program Admin Assistant.  Services are rendered throughout the entire County and referrals must be approved by Solano County Mental Health.
