Caminar’s Solano County supported independent living programs provide personalized mental health rehabilitation services to individuals that are in need of support services from community mental health resources. We help our client's develop plans and work towards the accomplishment of individual goals. Our community based case management staff provide a one-on-one support wherever it’s needed—in the individual’s home, a local coffee shop, workplace, or other locations in the community.

New Ventures

Caminar's New Ventures Program provides goal-oriented personalized rehabilitation services to people who need support while living independently in the community. The focus is on individualized treatment plans that concentrate on our client's strengths and abilities, on skill building, goal setting and their accomplishment.

Caminar's New Ventures case managers successfully provide one-on-one support services that often include assisting individuals in securing and sustaining permanent housing, roommate selection, life-skills training, symptom management, self-help skills, participation in community support groups, referrals to vocational and educational resources, as well as other essential community mental health resources.community-based services.

Taking a balanced vocational recovery approach, New Ventures collaborates with Caminar’s Supported Education and Jobs Plus programs to encourage the vocational and educational goals of our clients.
