Wellness and Recovery Center

The Wellness and Recovery Center is a MHSA funded program through the prevention and early intervention service dollars.  The W & R Center is intended as a drop-in center for existing consumers in the mental health system and for mentally ill individuals unidentified to the mental health system and/or who have experienced one psychotic break.  The Caminar W & R Center is located at 915 Tuolumne across the street from the Caminar admin office and FSP/medication clinic.  The center will provide an array of services meant to promote wellness and ongoing recovery from mental health disorders.  The staffing of the center is one program coordinator, one assistant case manager, and 2 peer counselors.  The center began services December 1st, 2010 and is open Monday – Friday from 8am to 3pm.
