Caminar:  Who We Serve

At Caminar, our mission is to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities by providing opportunities to live in the community with dignity and independence.  We provide professional services and programs to the following populations through our California regional agencies in San Mateo County, Solano County, and Butte County:

• People with Serious Mental Illness
• People with Developmental Disabilities

We work closely with individuals who are experiencing symptoms of depression, schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, manic depressive disorder, developmental disabilities and autism.  The specific community services and treatment programs offered within each location do vary from region to region.  For more information about which agency serves specific populations, please click here to view an overview of our regions.

Your Assistance Is Always Appreciated!

As a non-profit charity, we do depend on ongoing generosity from our community benefactors as a major source of our funding.  In order to keep providing the life-enhancing services throughout the areas we serve, we rely on your tax-deductible donations.  Would you consider donating to Caminar so we can continue our mission—improving the quality of lives and providing real opportunities?
