Here are a few details you may find helpful as you prepare for the event:

Date and Times: Saturday, October 19, 2019, from 5:30 - 9:30 p.m.

Attire: Cocktail attire

Venue: SFJAZZ Center, 201 Franklin Street, San Francisco (at the corner of Franklin and Fell streets)

Parking: We are offering valet parking for our guests. Please proceed to the Fell Street side of SFJAZZ for this service. As well, a list of local parking garages is posted on the SFJAZZ website, along with BART and MUNI public transit information.

Coat Check: Coat check service will be available in the lobby.

Food and Beverage: Enjoy hearty hors d’oeuvres, including vegetarian and vegan options, and a hosted bar before the concert. Dessert and coffee and tea service will be available after the concert. 

Event Timeline: 

  • 5:30 Hosted cocktail reception with hearty hors d’oeuvres

  • 7:00 Program begins, starting with a welcome by emcee Dave Clark

  • 7:40 Intermission

  • 7:55 Concert begins with headliner Sheléa performing Natural Woman: A Night of Soul from Aretha to Adele

  • 9:00 Concert concludes; dessert, tea, and coffee in the first-floor lobby

Program Overview: This special benefit concert raises funds for Caminar’s programs, which use compassion and science to offer life-changing mental health care and support for local individuals and families. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, Caminar’s prevention, treatment, and recovery programs serve more than 20,000 youth and adults in the Bay Area each year.

During the Fund-A-Need, we will invite your financial support to fund the path to wellness for vulnerable members of our communities.
