Tammy Estes, AMFT, Deputy Director

Tammy is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in our Fairfield office. She received her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Phoenix in April 2017 and Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University, Sacramento.  For the past few years, Tammy has worked with individuals who struggle from a variety of mental health issues, addictions, and co-occurring disorders.  Tammy’s main passion is assisting clients in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, both physically and mentally.

Whether it is helping individuals navigate through current life stressors or helping them come to terms with past circumstances, each individual holds the power within themselves for positive change. Tammy aims to assist clients through this process. Utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques to help clients gain insight into their thoughts and feelings, Tammy assists clients with understanding what has  triggered their negative thought patterns and what they can do to change them. In addition, Tammy often uses dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) techniques that can be utilized to help improve interpersonal relationships and coping skills to assist clients in maintaining healthy functioning.
