Who We Serve
At Caminar, our mission is to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities by providing opportunities to live in the community with dignity and independence. We provide professional services and programs for people with mental, physical, and developmental disabilities in the California counties of San Mateo, Santa Clara, San Francisco, Solano and Butte.
We work closely with individuals who are experiencing symptoms of depression, schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, manic depressive disorder, developmental disabilities, and autism. The specific community services and treatment programs offered within each location vary from region to region. For more information about our various services and programs, please visit our 'services' section.
Your Assistance Is Always Appreciated!
As a nonprofit charity, we depend on ongoing generosity from our community benefactors as a major source of our funding. In order to keep providing the life-enhancing services throughout the areas we serve, we rely on your tax-deductible donations. Would you consider donating to Caminar so we can continue our mission—improving the quality of lives and providing real opportunities? Your support helps people like Christopher, who shares his inspiring story of recovery in the below video.
