Bombas Sockapolooza

A little bit of comfort can go a long way. Caminar is so appreciative of our wonderful friends at Bombas for the generous in-kind donation of 3,000 pairs of socks – a  $39,000 value! Bombas donates clothing based on each purchase, allowing for nonprofits like Caminar to provide brand-new, quality, comfortable socks to our clients to help prepare for cooler temperatures this fall and winter.

Supporting Diverse Abilities via the Safeway Foundation

Throughout the month of August, the Safeway Foundation is running a campaign to support programs designed to inspire and enable people who have diverse abilities. The Safeway Foundation is a long-time, generous supporter of our Jobs Plus program, which offers vocational rehabilitation that connects people who would otherwise be excluded from the workplace with meaningful, paid jobs.

Save The Date - LGBTQ Programs Benefit Show and Resource Fair

The rumors are true, our fabulous LGBTQ programs will be hosting "I'm Coming OUT!" a drag benefit show and resource fair on National Coming Out Day, Saturday, October 11th! This event is aimed at uplifting our LGBTQ+ community, bringing light and joy during a dark time.

We graciously invite you to join in on this all-ages event. There will be a drag variety show, music, games, activities, and tours of our new drop-in center for our LGBTQ programs. This is an event you won't want to miss!
