The Times-Herald on Thursday, April 24, 2025, reported on a collaborative event to discuss Solano County homelessness and potential solutions, which was hosted by Solano County Supervisor Cassandra James and United Way Bay Area.

Caminar's DeAndre Richard, Program Director of Resource Connect Solano, an event panelist, spoke to the need for more collaborative efforts between county and city officials: “In most counties, the county and the cities collaborate together on emergency shelter placements,” he said, whereas in Solano County, “it’s really separated.”
