Caminar kicked off Mental Health Awareness Month today with an event celebrating the month and Caminar's new Teen and Family Wellness Center. Friends, neighbors, supporters, and special guests joined us for a special reception with remarks, tours, mental health insights, and community.
Special thanks to Dr. Elica Rahdar, senior policy analyst with the D3 team at the County of Santa Clara, representing President Otto Lee, who presented a commendation to Caminar's CEO Mark Cloutier; Palo Alto City Council Member Patrick Burt; Palo Alto Director Kristen O'Kane; and everyone else who joined us this morning. And, our endless gratitude to Jo-Ann Byrne Sockolov, MA, CFRE, SPHR, Caminar Board Chair, and Rod Sockolov, Former Board Member and mental health advocate, for their leadership and advocacy for this important resource for our community.
At the Caminar Teen and Family Wellness Center - Palo Alto, we ensure that teens and families facing stress, anxiety, and trauma are never alone. Through confidential, compassionate, whole‑person care, we help young people build emotional strength and resilience while supporting families in creating healthier communication and stronger connections.
