Services Description:

The center provides a whole-person, youth-centered approach for adolescents ages 12-17, addressing challenges like anxiety, depression, grief, identity development, trauma, family conflict, interpersonal boundaries, aggression, victimization, bullying, body image concerns, and more. Services include:

Comprehensive Assessment and Treatment Planning: Each teen completes a full biopsychosocial assessment, and clinicians co-create treatment plans that reflect their goals, values, and strengths. Families are included when appropriate, and with the teen’s consent.

Individual Teen Therapy: Flexible, accessible therapy tailored to each teen’s readiness and schedule, with weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly sessions offered in person, via telehealth, or as a hybrid. Appointments are available in the late afternoon and early evening to accommodate school schedules.

Family Engagement: Counseling sessions with the teen’s family members, focused on building healthy communication, trust and boundaries. Licensed clinicians deliver care that centers each teen’s voice while supporting each family’s cultural values, availability, and relational dynamics.

Group Therapy: To enhance peer connection and reduce isolation, group therapy will also be offered soon. These groups will be age-specific like middle school and high school cohorts; and topically focused such as skills sessions, expressive arts, mindfulness, and social-emotional learning.

Parent/Guardian Workshop and Support Group: A six-week virtual workshop and support group designed to help parents and guardians better understand the mental health challenges teens may face and how to support them in seeking services. Facilitated by a licensed LMFT, sessions will cover recognizing signs and symptoms, navigating mental health resources, improving communication, reducing stigma, and building healthy support systems at home. The group also provides a supportive space for caregivers to connect, share experiences, and receive guidance and encouragement from peers and the facilitator.

Therapeutic Modalities:

Our licensed clinicians use evidence-based approaches such as:

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
