A long-time beneficiary of Valle Monte League, Caminar is grateful to be included in the organization's recent announcement as a recipient of Valle Monte's generous funding.

According to their press release, "Valle Monte League is proud to announce that it has  raised over $292,800 at its 2024 Christmas Tree Elegance event to support mental health programs. The organization will equally distribute a total of $292,800 to three dedicated mental health agencies—(Centre for Living with Dying – Bill Wilson Center, Hearts & Minds Activity Center and Caminar’s Family & Children Services)—supporting and expanding their vital initiatives in helping individuals navigate mental health challenges.

The amount will be equally divided to bolster and develop innovative programs that directly address mental health needs in the community. These funds will enable them to enhance existing programs, develop new services, and reach more individuals in need of mental health support. By investing in these dedicated nonprofits, Valle Monte League aims to strengthen community-based resources, increase accessibility to mental health care, and raise awareness about mental health issues."
