Did you know that 2026 brings a historic change to how your donations are recognized by the IRS? For the first time, you don’t need to itemize your taxes to see a benefit from your generosity.

Under the new One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA), even if you take the standard deduction, your gifts to Caminar this year can reduce your taxable income. You can now claim charitable deductions even if you do not itemize deductions.

  • Individual Filers: Deduct up to $1,000
  • Married Filing Jointly: Deduct up to $2,000

Whether you are a long-time supporter or looking to rejoin our mission this year, your 2026 contributions now offer a direct tax advantage that wasn't available to most taxpayers last year. It’s a win-win: you support our community’s mental health and wellness, and you get a "deductible boost" come April 2027!

P.S. Ready to take your support to the next level? While the new tax laws are a great boost for everyone, those who contribute $2,500 or more annually join our Caminar Leadership Impact Circle (CLIC). It’s a wonderful way to sustain our work and connect more deeply with the Caminar family. And don't forget: if you’ve given any amount for 10+ years, you’re already an honorary member!
