Requirements

  • Medi-Cal eligible residents of San Mateo, or Solano Counties
  • For San Mateo County, clients must participate in our case management program to avail themselves of the housing programs
  • For Solano County, HUD Housing requires applicants to meet the chronically homeless definition

Overview

Supportive housing for Caminar clients combines affordable housing—scattered, shared, or single occupancy—with intensive coordinated services to help people with severe mental health conditions. Each County in which Caminar offers supported housing has different housing sites, types of housing, and requirements.
